Bagi anda yang gemar mengikuti serial fenomenal dari Nickelodeon, Avatar The Legend of Ang (judul di Indonesia), kali ini siap-siap untuk menyambut Avatar the movie : The Last Air Bender The movie. Film Avatar ini rencananya akan dibagi ke dalam trilogi, dengan seri pertama didasarkan pada Season 1 : Book 1 - Water -.

Paramount Pictures dan Nickelodeon mempercayakan kepada M. Night Shyamalan sebagai sutradaranya, yang dikenal juga sebagai sutradara spesialis box office film-film bergenre horor yang sukses, diantaranya "Sign". Untuk urusan pemeran utama akhirnya didapatkan beberapa nama yang diantaranya sudah tidak asing lagi bagi dunia film Internasional. Tokoh Ang dipercayakan kepada Noah Ringer, Katara (Nicola Peltz), Sokka (Jackson Rathbone), dan Prince Zukko jatuh ke tangan Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire).

Secara global, realeas internasional Avatar The Las Airbender Movie ini akan mulai tayang 21 Juli 2010. Sementara di Indonesia 22 Juli 2010, lauching di Amerika Serikat 2 Juli 2010.
