GAMERS Dipastikan Gagal Tayang di Indonesia

Bagi anda yang suka menonton di Blitzmegaplex tentu sudah tidak asing dengan film-film independen yang dijembatani oleh Jive Entertainment. Ya, film-film indie ini yang biasanya ditolak oleh jaringan 21 Cineplex, bisa masuk dan beredar tayang di jaringan Blitzmegaplex melalui jasa Jive Entertainment.

Namun, tidak semua film-film indie ini bisa diputar begitu saja. Mudah ditebak, film yang beredar pun kebanyakan film-film yang biasanya diperuntukkan untuk diikutsertakan di festival-festival film dunia. Biasanya pula, genre nya pasti mem-boring-kan. hehe...

Kebanyakan yang tidak lulus sensor pun biasanya karena film tersebut terlalu vulgar mempertontonkan adegan dewasa, film-film Monica Belluci "gadis terpanas" susah masuk Indonesia. Atau adegan horor yang sangat tidak manusiawi, banyak film Thailand susah masuk. Atau adegan yang mengerikan sekali..... mungkin inilah kenapa GAMERS ditolak LSF (Lembaga Sensor Film)

Film ini seyogyanya akan dirilis pada tanggal 4 september 2009, kemudian diundur dan akhirnya mendapatkan kepastian bahwa GAMERS tidak dapat tayang di Indonesia karena tidak lulus sensor. Berikut adalah Review movie nya.

Dengan setting masa depan, dimana tekhnologi yang dapat mengontrol pikiran manusia merajalela di masyarakat dunia. Dalam sebuah permainan online mematikan, pemain dapat mengontrol terpidana mati . Bilamana seorang napi bisa melewati 30 kali permainan maka ia akan mendapat kebebasan mutlak. Simon (Logan Lerman) menguasai Kable (Gerard Butler), pemenang permainan online tersebut, yang telah memenangkan 27 kali permainan. Dengan setiap langkah yang diikuti oleh jutaan orang, tantangan utama yang dihadapinya yakni memperoleh kembali identitas dan kebebasannya dengan cara mengalahkan otak dari permainan mematikan tersebut (Michael C. Hall), dengan cara menyerang sistem yang telah menawannya selama ini.
