Di Minangkabau, Sumatera Barat, Yuda adalah seorang pemuda yang pandai berlatih silat "Harimau" yang kini berada pada tahap akhir untuk persiapan dimulainya "Merantau" sebuah perjalanan mengembara yang akan dilakukan oleh masyarakat dari setiap anak laki-laki Minangkabau, dan akan meninggalkan kenyamanan terhadap kehidupan petani desa dan membuat nama untuk dirinya sendiri di Kota Jakarta.
Setelah persiapannya matang, Yuda meninggalkan rumah dan tidak pasti dengan masa depannya yang baru, sebuah kesempatan terjadi, saat dia harus menyelamatkan Astri seorang yatim dari korban perdagangan manusia Eropa ring yang dipimpin oleh orang yang psycopat, Ratger dan tangan kanannya, Luc.
Dengan Ratger terluka dalam pertarungan dan mencari kedua "barang dagangan"-nya dan berdarah retribusi, Yuda dari pengenalan ini adalah kota yang ramai dengan pertarungan sehingga dia terpaksa kabur di jalanan bersama Astri dan adiknya Adit untuk menghindari semua gangsters yang mendiami jalanan malam dan mengejar mereka kemanapun mereka berlari.

In Minangkabau, West Sumatera, Yuda a skilled practitioner of Silat Harimau is in the final preparations to begins his "Merantau" a century's old rites-of-passage to be carried out by the community's young men that will see him leave the comforts of his idyllic farming village and make a name for himself in the busting city of Jakarta.
After a series of setbacks leave Youda homeless and uncertain about his new future, a chance encounter results in him defending the orphaned Astri from becoming the lates victim of a European human traficking ring led by the wildy psychotic. ratger and his right-hand man Luc.
With Ratger injured in the melee and seeking both his "merchandise" and bloody retribution. Yuda's introduction to this bustling city is a baptism of fire as he is forced to go on the run with Astri and her younger brother Adit as all the pimps and gangsters that inhabit the night hound the streets chasing theirevery step.
